Campus Party Ecuador: Sept 30 – Oct 4. Quito, Ecuador
Libelium will participate in the fifth edition of the Campus Party Ecuador. CPEC5 is one the largest events in the world covering innovation, entrepreneurship and technological disclosure.
This edition will celebrate the 150th anniversary of Jules Verne’s “From the Earth to the Moon” and will be inspired by his visionary perspective of the world.
Luis Martín, Libelium R&D engineer, will be talking about the e-Health Sensor Platform. This shield was design for Arduino, Raspberry Pi and Intel Galileo, and allows the user to perform biometric and medical applications with ten different sensors. After that, a related case study will be presented with a live demo of this platform. This talk is scheduled for Oct 3 at 10 pm, more info here.
Luis will later give a workshop introducing the IoT Student Kit and Waspmote, Libelium Sensor Platform for the Internet of Things. This workshop will cover some basic examples to create a wireless sensor network to monitor our environment. The participants will develop a project with Waspmote and will be able to use some advanced functions like RTC and the accelerometer, measure temperature and luminosity, and use wireless communications.
