Hello Waspmote Community,
As you see, the use of Eclipse with Waspmote has some risks: probably, it allows very big codes to be uploaded to Waspmote, so it is possible that the bootloader is over-written. In this case, Waspmote becomes useless, but it can be repaired obviously.
Our Waspmote IDE does not allow this accident, so it protects the bootloader.
We appreciate the kind contribution of Eduardo doing the tutorial to use Eclipse with Waspmote (great work), but you can see it has some risks. You can use Eclipse at your own risk: bear in mind Libelium does not support it in an official way so that there is no valid warranty for that.
The maximum size of the code to be uploaded to Waspmote is 122880 Bytes (= 120KB).
