Anyone knows X-CTU equivalent on linux?

Some of the tutorials mention the use of X-CTU. But , the X-CTU software is available only for windows platform. I, being a linux user cannot go further in my pursuit of using digimesh technology as the tutorial mentions the usage of configuration utility "X-CTU". Please help in this regard.

Regards,
RKM

Hi,

Sorry but X-CTU is a Digi software and it is only available in Windows.

However, you may use wine to run the program. You'll need a symbolic link to the COM ports but it works perfectly over Linux.

Check this link for how to install & use X-CTU using WINE. http://lizard43.blogspot.com/2008/10/x- ... linux.html
