START WITH WASPMOTE WIFI

I'm beginner....I received a new waspmote with wifi and rfid radio. I would like to begin using wifi examples. How can i dowload programs without gateway? Is it possible?

Hi catapano_a,

I'm not sure of having understood your question. You don't need to use the gateway in any of the wifi examples you will find in the development section, just the USB. Please, read carefully the Networking guide and the Waspmote Quick start guide, and do not hesitate to ask if you have any doubt.

Hi,
i'm trying to download the WaspWIFI_00_StatusCommand demo on Waspmote, but i receive this error: not in sync and protocol error.
Where is the problem?

which operating system are you using? Did you follow the steps in this checklist?

MY OS is Vista.

The error occurs when i try to download the sw onto waspmote.

Hi catapano_a,

Did you remove the XBee and put the programmer jumper before uploading the code? Did you select the port at which the mote is connected and the board version at your IDE? Do you have the FTDI drivers properly installed?

I download the Wifi Phone example, but i am not able to see the network iPHONE_ADHOC on my iPHONE....

did you already solve the problem you had uploading codes? Which one did you upload on your mote?
