Hi jessie,

you must take into account that you are loosing the gain configuration when turning off the microphone, you should repeat it every time you reconnect it (the line you have commented after turning it on).

Regarding your dust sensor, could you please modify the delay after turning on the sensor and set it at two seconds (delay(2000);)?
