Hello Libelium Dev.

I am running through some problems with OTAP on meshlium.

I've extracted otap in /mnt/user/.

Next in SSH: -

I have edited xbee.conf and changed PORT = /dev/ttyS0

then I have executed

Code:
/etc/init.d/ZigbeeScanD.sh stop

then I went to the otap folder and exectured: -

Code:
./otap -scan_nodes --mode BROADCAST

and I got a java error: -

Code:
./otap: line 1: java: command not found

Any help would be appreciated.

Actually I managed to fix it by installing java. I didn't know java wasn't installed.

Is there any other things I need to fix in meshlium? Is XBee set to API mode 1 on it ?

I've set to listen on the correct port over meshlium, but when I issue the command ./otap -scan_nodes --mode BROADCAST ... my node RSSI LEDs blink every 2 seconds but doesn't seem to respond to meshlium?... Anything else i must do Libelium Dev?

You're right. You need to set the API mode to 1 in the xbee meshlium in order to make it work.

Done it. had it open meshlium and remove the Xbee radio and do it from there.
Now it's working.

Vamos! ...

However is it possible change the API of the radio without having to open the meshlium up?

Of course it is possible.
    - Log in your meshlium.
    - Stop the zigbeeCapturer:
    /etc/init.d/ZigbeeScanD.sh stop
    - Execute the following:
    capturer S0 38400
    - Enter three '+' keys. The xbee will reply 'ok' (this gives you access to at xbee commands)
    - Enter: atap 1 the xbee will reply 'ok' (this puts the xbee in ap mode 1)
    - Enter atwr the xbee will reply 'ok' (this save settings to xbee non volatile memory)

Aww dang! Don't matter.

By the way, is it possible the bootloader gets corrupted during OTAP? ... I had a perfectly working waspmote with otap, but yesterday when I uploaded a program to it using meshlium OTAP shell, and loaded the program it worked initially but then when I tried to start another program on the SD card, it wouldn't work, and hasn't worked since. I tried formatting the SD card, and I tried uploading the original OTAP code and start all over again, but nothing has worked. so is it possible the bootloader gets damaged like that?
