Hello all,
I'm trying to configure via Meshlium Manager System our Meshlium MeshAP.
I need to configure wifi WPA-EAP authentication for clients through an external radius server.
on Manager System / Wifi AP the only configurable protocol methods are:
None
WEP
WPA (that is WPA-PSK not WPA Enterprise)

I searched and checked for tutorials but all I found is the following:
WIFI SECURITY
Meshlium supports three authentication methods: WEP, WPA Personal (PSK) and WPA
Enterprise (EAP).
Note: The two first methods can only be configured when the Wifi radio is in client (“Managed”) or access
point (“Manager”) mode. In the case of WPA-EAP it is only available in access point mode (“Manager”).

Ok, how can I set the wifi radio to Manager mode? Can't find it nowhere.

Thanks in advance

PS: my $manager_system_version="2.0.3";

Dear korovamilk, the Meshlium Manager System does not directly support setup WPA-EAP security, but you can access by ssh to the operating system and configure it by hand, following the steps of setting up a debian AP with WPA-EAP encryption should works.

Best regards.

Thanks for the kind reply,

so is there no way to configure wpa enterprise with radius authentication from web interface?
..weird, since I saw it on manual_meshlium_eng.pdf v.1.0 - September 2009 - pages 48 and 49.
Is this not applicable to my model (and, how does I can show mesh model details, since I just have remote connection to the device and can't read the rear label ;) ).

Regards

Dear korovamilk, the version of the manual to which you refer is very very old, since 2009 the Meshlium Manager System has suffered many changes, and no longer supports the configuration of wireless networks with WPA-EAP.

Meshlium operating system is almost 100% compatible with Debian manuals that you can find on the internet to configure wifi devices.

Best regards
