No 3G Connection when SIM has PIN

Hi,

when we first installed our Meshlium device and our SIM card had no PIN, the 3G dial-in worked fine. With a PIN set for the SIM card, the web frontend cannot connect to the 3G network. Also, if one is logged in via ssh and wvdial is executed the following happens: wvdial sends the AT+CPIN-Command to the modem and the modem returns "ERROR".

What could trigger this problem?

Please connect by ssh to meshlium and test the following commands and send us the result:

capturer USB2
AT
AT+CPIN=?
[Ctrl]+c

The response to the command "AT" is "OK".
The response to the command "AT+CPIN=xxxx" is "ERROR".

Dear michael_iml,

please try the AT+CPIN? with "?" symbol at the end, this command will return the sim pin status.

Example:

AT+CPIN?
+CPIN: PIN
OK

SIM is waiting for PIN

Hi,

after entering "AT+CPIN?" the repsonse was:

"+CPIN: ready

ok"

This response was given before and after i tried to set the PIN with the before mentioned command "AT+CPIN=xxxx".

Hello michael_iml,

If the response was "READY" this means that the SIM card "is no pending for any password"
