Hi!

Nowadays, I'm using the waspmote from the development kit to make prototypes. However, I'm thinking in build a little board only with an atmega1281 and a XBee module connected by uart.

I would like to use the Waspmote API on my own board. Do you think it could be easy? I'm not sure because waspmote has a lot of HW....

Thx in advance

It depends of so good you're designing electronic circuits, but waspmote is a very well tested platform specifically designed for low power usage and high usability.
Good luck with your project.
