Libelium will be present at the Kyoto Smart City Expo 2018 with its partner Azbil Trading Co., Ltd., one of the most important events about the Internet of Things in Asia.

The KSCE2018 will take place in Keihanna Plaza (Kyoto) on the 4th and 5th October 2018. This event will reunite more than 10,000 participants from all over the world.
The main objective of the Kyoto Smart City Expo is to create a sustainable and liveable future for regions and industries, creating a “meta-comfort” smart society in order to overcome present urgent issues which Japan is facing, such as regional decline of societal and economic vitality due to decreasing birthrate and aging population.
Development of smart cities will make life more convenient, and achieve safe, secure and comfortable lifestyles. Further, ICT such as IoT, big data, AI and robotics, which is leading to historic paradigm shift on business structures, is positioned in each country as an important strategic sector to be a driving force of the next industrial revolution.
Alicia Asín, CEO and Co-founder of Libelium, will be speaking at the event on the 4th October about the topic: “Lessons from the old continent for new cities”.
