July 21st, 2017 - Libelium

The IoT Spartans Challenge, the educational online program for future developers powered by Libelium, has reached two cooperation agreements with The Internet of Things Talent Consortium (IoTTC) and Madrid Internet of Things Institute (MIOTI). By these agreements, IoTTC and MIOTI have become sponsors of Libelium’s IoT Spartans Challenge just before the second edition of this initiative that starts on September 1st.

The IoT Spartans Challenge is Libelium’s firmest and ceaseless commitment to boost education and training on a field which will require over 1.4 million professional developers by 2020. The aim of this initiative is to bridge the gap between the skills required by companies and employees’ practical knowhow.

Participants registered in Libelium’s IoT Spartan’s Challenge have the opportunity to participate acquiring knowledge on wireless technologies, sensors and connectivity to cloud platforms used in the IoT.

September 1st is the deadline for universities and educational institutions to register in order to take part in the second edition of IoT Spartans Challenge. Their participation involves their recognition all over the world as top universities in IoT training apart from other benefits.

The second IoT Spartans Challenge has already started with a Summer School. With 350 students all over the world taking part, the Summer School is aimed at introducing students to the main concepts of IoT. Besides, participants get points to be considered in the final ranking established to award with cash prizes to the Top 3 students.
