Mobile World Congress: February 27 – March 2, Barcelona, Spain
Libelium will be attending MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona between February 27 and March 2. It takes place in Mobile World Capital Barcelona at two venues: Fira Gran Via and Fira Montjuïc.
You will find us at IoT Pavilion (hall 8) Stand 8.0F9.This year, we will show out new IoT Sensor Platform worldwide certified with important improvements for the sensor nodes Waspmote and Plug & Sense! and the IoT gateway Meshlium. The devices are now faster, more accurate, energy-saving and compliant with the latest radio and cloud technologies in the market.
The new IoT Smart Cities Platform will also be displayed at the booth. It enhances accuracy in noise level and air quality pollution sensors to combat climate change and prevent the impact in citizens health. Libelium has improved its sensors design according to regulations of noise and environmental control.
At our stand you can also discover the countless possibilities of IoT knowing more about our partners real solutions. This year we will welcome Thingworx, Eagle.io, Telit, Spark Compass and Arrow. These are the demos that will be displayed at their workstations:
Air Aquality monitoring solution at Thingworx
Thingworx, a PTC business, is a global provider of technology platforms and solutions that transform how companies create, operate, and service the “things” in the Internet of Things (IoT).
The ThingWorx team will be demonstrating a smart air quality monitoring solution built on the ThingWorx technology platform. Sensors from Libelium are placed in 3 different areas around Boston (downtown, industrial area, residential neighborhood) and are monitoring nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3), sulfer dioxide (SO2), small particle matters and large partical matters. Data is sent to ThingWorx platform where the air quality index is calculated and reported for each area. Alerts are set to create notifications when the air quality is reaching an unhealthy level so corrective actions can be taken.
Eagle.io platform for Smart Water applications
Eagle.io is a cloud platform to store, visualise and alert on time series data for portfolios of connected devices. It allows for secure sharing of workspaces, customisable graphs and dashboards and visual map overlays.
The company will be demonstrating a Smart Water Solution based on the IoT Kit at The IoT Marketplace released by Eagle.io and Libelium. The wireless sensors network aim is to improve and simplify remote water quality monitoring to monitor parameters such as pH, Dissolved Oxygen and Conductivity. This kit is suitable also for potable water monitoring, chemical leakage detection in rivers and the sea, remote measurement of swimming pools and spas, corrosion and limescale deposit, fish tank monitoring and seawater pollution levels.
DeviceWISE Industrial IoT (IIoT) platform by Telit
Telit is a global leader in Internet of Things enablement, is a partner of Libelium’s in both Cloud and Industrial IoT technologies. The Telit IoT Portal is a cloud-based IoT subscription service acting as a single web-based point of access for all of Telit’s Connectivity and Platform services.
At Libelium’s MWC booth, Telit will offer a demonstration of their IoT portal and Industrial IoT (IIoT) Platform. This demonstration will consist of collection and visualization of live data from a PLC and various Waspmote sensors connected to a Libelium Meshlium Gateway. This hardware will be located at Telit’s own MWC booth: Hall 5 Booth E61. The deviceWISE Industrial IoT Platform lets you create an Industrial IoT solution that just works; no custom coding required.
Smart City demonstration at Rosecroft Estates with Spark Compass
Total Communicator Solutions, Inc., is ushering in the experience age by delivering the right message to the right person, at the right time and place. Based on our patented technology, the Spark Compass™ mobile proximity platform brings personalized, contextual experiences to life.
The Smart City demonstration will show live streaming data from the Spark Compass living lab at the Rosecroft Estates in San Diego California. They will display a dashboard showing live real-time data from the living lab through the Spark Compass platform using Libelium sensors and the Meshliuum Hub for Air quality, Agricultural and Parking data. Also beacon technology has been incorporated at each sensor location to demonstrate contextual awareness to notify maintenance workers with real-time alerts and notifications.
Arrow solution to inspire IoT innovations
Arrow Electronics represents an ecosystem of partners and capabilities – from sensor to sunset – that enable cities to build out solutions with a broad range of sensing and connectivity capabilities, data platforms on premise and in the cloud, and analytics.
Arrow will demonstrate integration with products from Libelium representing a smart city along with use cases to demonstrate sense and react capabilities with open APIs that easily enable application integration into 3rd party applications. Arrow Connect consists of a gateway software that is fully certified on Libelium’s Meshlium gateways and a flexible IoT data platform solution that provides device provisioning & management as well flexible data ingestion, storage, and access to build out applications and integrations that enable flexibility to account for evolving requirements for cities.
