Description:
Arduino Duemilanove is an open-hardware physical computing platform based on a simple i/o board to whom it can be attached different sensors and a development environment that implements the Processing/Wiring language.
Arduino can be used to develop stand-alone interactive objects, as prototyping tool or can be connected to software on your computer (e.g. Flash, Processing, MaxMSP,PD). Its fast-learning curve and economical price make it and ideal tool for teachers and everyone interested in robotics and electronics.
The open-source IDE can be downloaded for free (currently for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux) from http://www.arduino.cc.
Duemilanove is the enhanced release of Diecimila version, with Autopower selection.
Board comes fully assembled and tested with ATMega328 pre-loaded with bootloader.
