Re: Problems in SD operations

As my post on 17.12.2017 describes, The example code SD_12_format_SD does not work. My posts following to it just describe elaboration to find out more information on the problem. The code installed at the moment of failure is supposed to (1) Update the firmware OTA (2) Do measurements with BME, gas...

Re: Problems in SD operations

I have dug a bit more, and the debugging part looks like following now. // init SPI bus if(!card.init(SPI_FULL_SPEED)) { flag = INIT_FAILED; #ifdef SD_DEBUG USB.print(F("INIT_FAILED set: card.init(SPI_FULL_SPEED) value: ")); USB.println(card.init(SPI_FULL_SPEED), DEC); USB.print(F("card.errorCode():...

Re: Problems in SD operations

Hi, I am digging into a little bit into WaspSD.cpp. First I activated SD_DEBUG in WaspSD.h and ran SD_12_format_SD again. This changed one line on the USB monitor from Formatting...SD format failed to Formatting...error cardSizeSD format failed Then I added debugging messages (the print lines below)...

Re: Problems in SD operations

Hi, Our SD had operated flawlessly for one month after the latest RMA. On last Friday our device stopped sending data and logs to our server. Our P&S SEPro was set up to measure at all the sensor ports (BME, NO2, SO2, CO, O3, and PM sensors), to store the readings on the SD card, and then to send th...

Re: UPGRADE.TXT issues

Hi, I wonder how your UPGRADE.TXT file looks now. I think it should look like something like below when you open it in an editor. Notice that I am deliberately writing newline characters visibly. FILE:WASPMOT\n PATH:/\n SIZE:102882\n VERSION:11\n What I mean here is that there must be a newline char...

Re: Looking to use HTTP Post to carriots platform

Hello, I send HTTP POST packets from our Waspmote P&S to our data server but only through GPRS connection. I don't have any experience in configuring HTTP connection with a 4G module, and so I assume your configuration is just OK. Here is one point I have noticed in your code, just in case it helps....

Re: deepSleep(..., ALL_OFF) causes the PM sensor to drive its fan?

Sorry if my question was not clear.

I would like to understand physical connection between the DIGITAL1 pin and PM sensor.
I wonder if any document describes the schematic of a waspmote board.

Regards

Re: deepSleep(..., ALL_OFF) causes the PM sensor to drive its fan?

Hi, Thank you for the comment. At the provided link (waspmote_technical_guide.pdf) I can find "how" to use functions in the wiring library to control pins. But with that document I don't still understand "why" I should control the DIGITAL1 pin in this case. In other words, it does not mention the co...

Re: deepSleep(..., ALL_OFF) causes the PM sensor to drive its fan?

Thank you for the information. So in the context of PM measurement and sleep, should the loop() look something like following? void loop(){ /* PM measurement */ digitalWrite(DIGITAL1, HIGH); OPC_N2.ON(OPC_N2_SPI_MODE); // for waspmote v12 measure = OPC_N2.getPM(2000, 5000); // Wait for 2 sec after t...

Re: deepSleep(..., ALL_OFF) causes the PM sensor to drive its fan?

Hi, I think that you have been working on the code I shared in my post on 10th of August, 2017. I shared the code because I could replicate the problem even when the compiler had not complained about "low memory." In the post I commented, The setting below is enough for me to replicate the problem. ...
