The code above is to read ONLY the BME sensor, on the examples codes of the gases sensors the code part to read the BME sensor is already included.

I am looking at the example from gp_19_aqm since it seems to be what I need to read the Gas Sensors on a Waspmote PRO with v12 sensors. In that code, temp, humidity and pressure are read but as follows:

Gas CO(SOCKET_A);
float temperature;
float humidity;
float pressure;

CO.ON();
temperature = CO.getTemp();
humidity = CO.getHumidity();
pressure = CO.getPressure();

Is this what you mean when you say that the "code part to read the BME sensor is already included"? Or do I need to add the code such as was shown earlier in this thread that explicitly reads the BME sensor?

Thanks for your help. Sorry if I am making this more complicated than it needs to be.

Mark

Hi,

Yes, this part of code read the BME.

Code: Select all

Gas CO(SOCKET_A);
float temperature;
float humidity;
float pressure;

CO.ON();
temperature = CO.getTemp();
humidity = CO.getHumidity();
pressure = CO.getPressure();
We usually use the other code to check the individual operation of BME.

Hi Libelium,
I'm looking for an extension cable to put our BME / 9370-P in the greenhouse "at the right position". This is about 15m away from the P&S-smart-agriculture.
As the 9370-P is connected with a digital bus, that should be possible (within reason), right?
What is the plug you use to connect to 9370-P?
Which 4 Pins are being used?
I assume libelium does not sell elongation cables?

yours sincerely
Dominik

Hi Dominik,

BME sensor uses I2C communication protocol which shouldn't be used with long cables. The sensor shouldn't be used with cable longer than some centimeters.

On the other hand, we can provide the pin out of the sensor, it isn't public.
