UUID

Hi!

I'm new to waspmote and android and I'm trying to create an android app that will receive temperature data from my waspmote board 1.2 using BLE module. Now, I was wondering if you could help me choose which UUID should I use for that?

at the end of the BLE technical guide yo have a description of the chosen UUIDs for the Libelium BLE module profile. (section 9)

You can use any of them.

Thank you for you answer!

I have read the temperature data and I'm using example 11 as my reference. Do i have to write my temperature data in local attribute to be able to read it using my android app?

Yes.

If you want to push data to your android APP, it should be written into a local attribute of the BLE on Wasp. You can also edit the advertisement payload to build your custom message.

I am a beginner for using this. Is there anyone who can help me with changing LocalAttribute to push Accelerometer data to an android APP. I don't have any idea how to do this.

Hi,

You can write into a characteristic to send data. Then you have to read that characteristic from the another device. You can find more information about BLE device on its technical guide and example codes
