Send FTP files with WiFi module

Post by Elcuevas » Thu Nov 15, 2018 9:11 pm

Hello Libelium Team,

I'm working with Waspmote V12 and the Wifi module (Roving Networks RN-XV rev 3), and the IDE 04 and API v23. At the beginning I thought the WiFi module was not compatible with Waspmote but after few tests I'm able to join an AP and ping the Waspmote from my laptop, so I think they are compatible.

The problem starts when I'm trying to send a txt file stored in the Waspmote's SD card to a Windows 10 FTP server in my laptop. Everything locally for now. Apparently I'm able to set the FTP connection (WIFI.setFTP), open it (WIFI.openFTP) but not able to WIFI.uploadFile(). Am I missing any step or should I change the FTP server?.

Many thanks,
Javier.

Hi Javier,

Could you please share with us the code used and the output through the serial monitor? So we will be able to debug the problem. Also please upload the code with debug mode 1 enabled to show more information through the serial monitor.

Hi libelium-dev,

I've solved this problem, it was a stupid mistake of mine but I got stuked with another bigger problem. I've already posted it here: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=26077

Sorry for the late answer, I though I'd receive a notification.

Many thanks,
Javier.
