LoRaWAN example code producing error

Post by michellefitz » Tue Jan 23, 2018 1:21 pm

Hi,

I am using the following :

Waspmote pro IDE V04
Waspmote pro API version 023
Smart agri plug and play v12

I am trying to copy the following code across to the sensor to test :
http://www.libelium.com/v12/development ... end-frame/

but get this error on verify :

smart_agri_23_01_join_ABP_send_frame.pde: In function 'void loop()':
smart_agri_23_01_join_ABP_send_frame.pde:220:67: error: no matching function for call to 'WaspLoRaWAN::sendConfirmed(uint8_t&, uint8_t [151], uint16_t&)'
smart_agri_23_01_join_ABP_send_frame.pde:220:67: note: candidate is:
In file included from smart_agri_23_01_join_ABP_send_frame.pde:2:0:
C:\Users\XXXXXX\Desktop\waspmote-pro-ide-v04-windows\libraries\LoRaWAN/WaspLoRaWAN.h:155:11: note: uint8_t WaspLoRaWAN::sendConfirmed(uint8_t, char*)
C:\Users\XXXXXX\Desktop\waspmote-pro-ide-v04-windows\libraries\LoRaWAN/WaspLoRaWAN.h:155:11: note: candidate expects 2 arguments, 3 provided

Do I need to upgrade my versions of software ?

Thanks,
Michelle

Hi,

Yes, you have to upgrade the API to use LoRaWAN.sendConfirmed( PORT, frame.buffer,frame.length) function because it isn't include in API v023.

You can download the last API and IDE here. It is compatible with P&S v12.
