USB writing binary data

Post by rosejn » Sat Jul 27, 2019 1:31 am

Hi,
I don't see any functions in the USB API to write bytes over the serial port, and when I use print it converts them to a hex representation. How do I just write bytes to the serial port in binary?

Also, in the code and documentation for the WaspFrame packet layer, I can't find anything about reading and parsing packets. I need to be able to read packets out in the network as well as from my scripts on a computer where I'm receiving data. Do you have code for reading and parsing?

Thanks

Hi rosejn,

Using the next function you will be able to print in binary format,

Code: Select all

USB.println(var,BIN);
Hope this help.

Regards
