Normal C development, Makefile

Post by rosejn » Sat Jul 27, 2019 1:35 am

Hi,
We need to integrate compiling, loading, and testing of our software for the waspmote into an automated system. Also, our development team often works remotely over SSH via the terminal, so a GUI based IDE is not a good solution. Additionally, it seems to create a directory for each C file, and then inside it has a .pde file. This is a very strange arrangement, and it breaks standard tools for software development in C. Do you have an example Makefile and setup for developing projects for the waspmote using just terminal based tooling (e.g. avr-gcc, avrdude)?

Thanks

Hi,

Please download the next zip file where you will find how to upload hex files through the terminal,

http://www.libelium.com/forum/libelium_ ... spmote.zip

You will need to modify the load_code file with the correct file name to be uploaded and the USB port where the Waspmote is connected.

Let us know any questions you may have about the process.

Regards
