Frames get truncated via XBee868

Post by jburgues » Fri Sep 13, 2019 10:00 am

Hello,

I am trying to send frames of length 178 bytes from a waspMote with Xbee868 to a USB Gateway Xbee868. At the same time I am printing the frame via USB wired connection.

The problem I am facing is that via USB I can receive the entire frame but via 868 I only receive part of the frame. See image below:

https://ibb.co/QdT8P5H

As you can see, the frame gets truncated after the field corresponding to the sensor H2S.

Any idea?

I checked on waspFrame.h and MAX_LENGTH is set to 255 bytes.. is there any other size limitation for 868 protocol?

Thanks,
Javier.

Hi,

The maximum payload of the XBee868 module is 256 bytes, so the frame should be received properly. Could you please share the code used with us? We will debug the issue in more deep. Also, please copy here the output through the serial monitor.

What API version did you use to upload the code?

Hello,

The problem was solved by using xBee868LP instead of xBee868.

Thanks,
Javier.
