Backup Plug&Sense-data

Post by joakim » Thu May 18, 2017 4:15 pm

Because of meshlium power failure because of the under dimensioned solar pan, I would like to salvage as much as possible of the data in our plug&sense units internal storage. How do I go about backing up the data?

Hi joakim,

You can send yoru data to an external database or a cloud service, you can see how to send the data to external database on page 53 from our technical guide, there, also you can see the variety of cloud service to upload your data and how to configure them:

I am aware of the cloud services but since the meshlium has been down for months I need to get the data from the internal storage on the waspmote plug&sense unit itself, not the meshlium.

Hi,

We are sorry but P&S doesn't store the data unless you uploaded a code that saved the data on the SD card.

You wrote the code so I'm uncertain if it included the "save to sd"-code.
What would his code look like?

Hi,

We don't know what your code is but we think that it doesn't save the data in the SD card since normally this feature isn't included in the programming services.
