Hi ammarL,

There is no relevant information about your problem, please, keep on Meshlium during some hours until the error is reproduced more than once.

Then, send us your ethernet stats:

Code: Select all

netstat -i

Code: Select all

ifconfig eth0
And send us again last 100 lines of messages log:

Code: Select all

tail -n 100 /var/log/messages

Re: Help with Wifi Scan backups

Hi Dev,

I don't understand the interest in the network connectivity because the scanner is communicating well with the cloud. The problem has more to do with the corruption of the local database preventing older data from being sync'd with the cloud as I understand it.

Hi

In order to check and repair a possible corruption in the database, we recommend you to reset your Meshlium first and then you need to connect to it by SSH. Once in the Meshlium you can type:

Code: Select all

check: mysqlcheck -c <database> <table> -u root -p
optimize: mysqlcheck -o <database> <table> -u root -p
repair: mysqlcheck -r <database> <table> -u root -p
if you want to combine all corrupted tables of a database:

Code: Select all

mysqlcheck -u root -p --auto-repair -c -o <database>
Let us know if this operation fixes your issue.

Hi Team,

Sorry I disappeared. Unfortunately the troubles have increased. When I tried your MYSQLCHECK command, I got the following output:

meshlium_645c:/# ll /mnt/user/logs
total 12K
154433 drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4.0K 2016-07-30 15:30 .
2 drwxr-xr-x 29 root root 4.0K 2016-11-30 12:05 ..
154438 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2016-08-06 16:58 amazon.log
154437 -rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 840 2016-12-06 00:00 db_purge.log
154436 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2016-07-21 04:25 db_sync.log
154435 -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 2033-02-08 07:31 get_gps.log
154434 -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 2033-02-08 07:31 wifiscan.log

meshlium_645c:/# mysqlcheck -c MeshliumDB wifiScan -u root -p
Enter password:

MeshliumDB.wifiScan
warning : Table is marked as crashed and last repair failed
warning : Size of indexfile is: 126291968 Should be: 1024
error : Wrong bytesec: 0-0-0 at linkstart: 803081272
error : Corrupt

Moreover, when I go to the ManagerSystem and click on WiFi Scan under Tools, I get the following error under the "Local Database" tab:

ERROR: Unable to get the results: [PDO Exception] SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 144 Table './MeshliumDB/wifiScan' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

---

Is there anyway I can backup this data? Or do I have to reset the whole thing?

Please advise.

Thanks!

I have also tried MYSQLCHECK -R command, and here is the output I got:

meshlium_645c:/# mysqlcheck -r MeshliumDB wifiScan -u root -p
Enter password:
MeshliumDB.wifiScan
error : Can't create new tempfile: './MeshliumDB/wifiScan.TMD'
status : Operation failed

--

I then checked the amount of space available:

I just realized you said "reset the Meshlium" in your last message. Did you mean re-start? That I have tried already. Did you mean something else?

Thanks again for the help. I really appreciate it
