Name change sensors and update in Meshlium

Post by amolina » Thu Oct 31, 2019 1:22 pm

We have a problem in Meshlium manager System. We have had to change the names to the sensors, we have loaded the new configuration to the sensor and all the old and new ones still appear in the system and cannot be deleted. Is there any way we can remove them or should we reset Meshlium?
On the other hand, two of the sensors did not accept the name change, even having loaded the configuration with the new name without error.

Hi,

It is normal behaviour. All nodes IDs appear in the table. If you want to remove any of them, you have to access to the database using phpMyAdmin and remove the rows with the id that you want to remove in the table MeshliumDB -> last_data

What ID did you set to the nodes? Did you program the nodes using PCS or did you create the code by yourself?

We program the sensors using PCs. Can I remove all the sensors and would they be created again with the correct current name?

As an ID of the nodes we use an identifier with characters, for example, DK2_TORRE1, DK2_TORRE2, etc.

Hi,

Did you use the credentials sslroot/libelium2017?

Yes, you can remove all sensors and they will be created again when Meshlium receives data from them.

Could you please share with us the output of the node through the serial monitor?

Regards
