I am trying to connect my Meshlium thru 4g. I already have put the APN, username and password. It keeps telling me not registered into a network retry in 30 seconds. Sometimes it gives my wrong PIN although it has no PIN
P.S. The sim card worked perfectly on my phone and on other devices.

Hi,

What code did you upload to the node? Are you using the last API v043?

Please share the output through the serial monitor with us. Enable debug mode 2 inside Wasp4G.h file and upload the code to the node again. So we will be able to debug the issue in more deep.

Code: Select all

#define DEBUG_WASP4G 	0

Hello,

Sorry there may be a misunderstanding. I am saying I cannot connect my Meshlium not my Waspmote.
I have put a Sim card (Instead of the Ethernet) in my Meshlium which is working perfectly on my mobile phone. But when ever I try connecting it gives me the following message
Not Connected: Still not registered in the network. Retry in 30 seconds.
I am using Orange(Jordan)Sim card and I have entered the following parameters;
APN : net.orange.jo
Username : net
Password : net
Please could you resolve this problem.

Regards,

Hi,

Apologies for the misunderstanding.

What is the serial ID of Meshlium?

What is the manager system version? could you please update Meshlium to the latest 4.1.8 version? Does it connect to the network?

Regards

Hi,

No Problem.

Serial ID: 19249061139527
And Yes the Meshlium is up to date with thr 4.1.8 Version.
It only connects to the Internet through Ethernet only, but I wish to connect through 4G.

Hi,

The 4G module of your Meshlium uses US frequencies. Could you please confirm if these frecuencies work in your country?

LTE-700(B17)/850(B5)/AWS1700(B4)/1900(B2)
UMTS-850(B5)/1900(B2)GSM/GPRS-850/1900

Regards

Hello,

The LTE in Jordan is 1800(B3), and the GSM/GPRS is 850/1900.
Is this the reason why it is not working and is there a solution.

Thank you.

Hi,

Apologies for the delay answering, we're moving our offices and we're overwhelmed those days.

Yes, it seems that the module doesn't connect to the network due to it isn't designed to work in Jordan. We could try to configure the module to not use the 4G bands and connect to GPRS network by default. Please fill the RMA form and provide us SSH access to Meshlium and we will try to configure the module. Anyway, we aren't sure if it will work.

Hello,

No problem and thank you for your help.
If I may ask another question. If I want to buy a license for the Meshlium Cloud Bridge , should I also buy a license for the Libelium Cloud.

Best Regards.

HI,

A Cloud Bridge License is mandatory to send data to Bridge. This is the only license needed to send data from Meshlium to Bridge.
