Parking Sensor V2 RSSI issue

Post by jluengo83 » Mon Nov 11, 2019 7:23 pm

Hi There,

I'm currently testing 6 sensors with a distance of 5 meters away from GW, then 5 sensors show RSSI values between -37 to -42 but there is only one node that is showing a value of -90.

By the way, we got all these sensors back from RMA a month ago were batteries were replaced and firmware were updated to the latest back then.

Could you help troubleshooting this issue?

Thanks!

Hi,

Is the ADR disabled? did you enable it?

Could you please send us an image of the hardware (PCB) to check if it's correct?

Could you please load the information from the node using the Smart Devices App? Please send us a screenshot of the configuration

Regards

Hi,

Yes, I have enabled the ADR since we started to use the sensor.

I'm not sure how to attach an image into this message. When I click on "insert image" it comes out this "img/img".

I tried with Google Chrome, Mozilla as well as Internet Explorer.

By the way, next to this windows message, below the "Smilies" it shows "img is ON"

let me know how can I attach pictures/screenshots.

Thank You.

Hi,

You can copy a link to google drive, dropbox, etc to share the images.

Could you please share with us a table in which we can see the RSSI values and the spreading factor (or data rate) of the packets?

Hi,

Find below the link for 2 sensors comparison .csv files, the one that is facing the RSSI issue is PS6. Both sensors are next to each other, 5 meters away from GW.

As per the images, find the links below:

PCB:

App:

By the way, the app is the most updated which is 3.4 version.

Looking forward for your reply.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the tests. It seems that the antenna is damaged or the antenna pad of the LoRaWAN module isn't well welded. Please fill the RMA form and our tech support team will contact you to solve the issue.

Meanwhile, please try to use the node using the antenna of another module. Also, please check the following pin and let us know if it's soldered.
