Problems with Meshlium "Check Status" and "Load Mac"

Post by gauthier » Thu Jan 02, 2014 11:09 am

Hi!

I'm having trouble with our newly acquired meshlium (Meshlium Manager System v.3.1.0 - Serial number: 27326032136102)

I've been following the tutorial on how to set up the meshlium and the waspmotes - http://www.libelium.com/development/was ... -tutorial/ - but having trouble with STEP 3. Basically when I run the "Check Status" or "Load Mac" I get "Unexpected error please try again message".

I've been following this forum (here and here) - to follow the procedure described there to further define the problem - but without success

Code: Select all

ZigbeeScanD.sh stop
+

Code: Select all

sensorParserD.sh stop
while

Code: Select all

capturer S0 38400
with

Code: Select all

+++
does not give me an "ok"...

Reading from the forum, could it be that the meshlium does not have a 802.15.4 radio (or that the radio is not setup properly)?

Any quick help on this would be greatly appreciated. We definitely need to get this sorted as soon as possible - next few days would be ideal for us as we need to move fast on the issue (ideally have the meshlium database be populated this week).

Many thanks for your help

Hello gauthier,

It seems that the module is not well connected or is not working.

Please restart Meshlium and after that run the following command:

Code: Select all

dmesg
Please paste here the output.

Regards.
