Libelium includes a new feature on the Bridge to check connectivity between the devices and the cloud platform

Libelium Cloud Bridge adds a new feature that improves its operation: the data monitor.

With this new functionality, the user developing an IoT project can see the list of all the devices in operation and their status.

The data monitor allows to quickly identify if the device is sending data correctly. Until now, the user had to check the status of each device entering the cloud to check the operation of the data flow. In this way, it is possible to see data flowing from the device to the cloud, which shortens the time it takes to detect connection problems.

The data monitor shows, firstly, the status of the last connection (last value) and, secondly, it allows displaying the data of the last measurements (sensor, value and frames).

“Sometimes, the developer needs to know that the data is arriving without problems to the cloud and if this data does not arrive, he does not know if the problem is in the cloud or the connection of the device”, explains David Gascón, CTO of Libelium. “This new option is very useful in large folds to check that all the devices installed and all the probes of each device are working correctly”, adds Gascón.

The new data monitor is available to check the connectivity of any device –Plug & Sense!, Smart Parking and Meshlium– that sends data to the Bridge. It is only necessary to activate the license, free the first year up to 50.000 data values.
