Libelium and OVHcloud have entered into a strategic partnership to deliver sovereign cloud solutions.

Through projects like SENSE, Geo4Water, and BeatTheHeat, Libelium contributes expertise in digital twins and data platforms, helping cities worldwide implement scalable smart solutions while avoiding vendor lock-in.

Libelium has joined Gaia-X AISBL, Europe’s leading association driving a federated and sovereign data infrastructure. This move strengthens Libelium’s role in shaping the continent’s data economy, supporting open, secure, and regulation-compliant environments where companies, governments, and citizens can share information freely—reducing reliance on non-EU technology providers.
