Monitoring Fish Farm Pond Water Quality in Vietnam
Pha Distribution, one of the leading IOT & ICT distributors in Vietnam market, has deployed a wireless sensor network in a Vietnamese fish farm, next to Mekong river, with Libelium’s Waspmote Plug & Sense! Sensor Platform. The aim of the project is to monitor in real-time different parameters to control water quality and prevent some diseases that could affect fish in order to improve the quality and quantity of the production.
Saving water with Smart Irrigation System in Barcelona
<p><a href="https://www.starlab.es/" title="Starlab Living Science" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Starlab</a>, together with other companies, has deployed a remote control irrigation system for Barcelona that will help to reinforce its Smart City status. Starlab's contribution to the service is by soil moisture monitoring with in situ probes that use <strong>Libelium technology</strong> . Smart marina: monitoring mooring berths by controlling sea level and weather conditions in a touristic port in Greece
<p>One of the major problems for captains of vessels, especially during summer, is the <strong>absence of marina's reservation mechanisms</strong>. New Ion Sensor Probes “PRO” for Smart Water
<p>As requested by many of our clients we are adding <strong>new Ion Sensor Probes</strong> for the Plug & Sense! Smart Water Ions and the Sensor board (OEM version).</p> <p>These new sensor probes are named as "PRO" as they offer a <strong>better calibration cycle</strong> (they keep calibrated more days than the current probes). The underlying technology is not based on liquid chemicals but in solid membranes made of nanotubes of carbon so they simple last more time with the right calibration that the regular probes.
