Libelium is part of the DEPLOYTOUR consortium, a collaborative effort of 43 partners from 13 European countries. It is a crucial step in the development of a Common European Tourism Data Space.
Harnessing the power of data, DEPLOYTOUR will enable more personalised, sustainable and efficient tourism experiences.
In this consortium, Libelium will expand iris360 capabilities:
Data Collection: iris360 can gather data from various sources relevant to the tourism industry, such as sensors for monitoring visitor traffic, environmental conditions (air quality, noise levels), and infrastructure usage (parking, public transport).or integration with existing tourism databases.
Data Processing and Analysis: iris360 employs advanced data analytics, AI, and machine learning to transform raw tourism data into actionable insights
Development of Digital Twins: iris360 enables the creation of digital twins of tourist destinations for modelling the movement of tourists, assessing the impact of tourism interventions or enhancing emergency preparedness, to name a few use cases.
