The new device Q4Water is a portable water quality sensor developed by VisionTech4Life with Libelium technology that will be exposed at IFAT 2016.
Erabi and Fulcrum, partners from European project VisionTech4Life, will be exhibiting this innovative solution at the event that will take place in Munich, between May 30th and June 3rd . Both companies will show the new product in 507 booth, located in A2 pavilion.
Q4Water includes a Waspmote Plug & Sense! Smart Water and six different sensors connected to measure parameters like temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH, oxidation-reduction potential and turbidity.
The sensors adapt the values considered right and wrong and the threshold for each project. The frequency to measure each parameter can also be defined before starting monitorization. Main feature of Q4Water is that can be easily deployed anywhere in any circumstance. The model which contains Libelium Plug & Sense! device is designed under the IP67 protection grade.
This portable water quality sensor is equipped with internal batteries to obtain power supply and could also be connected to solar panels. To allow the communication between the sensors and the Cloud operators can use different protocols.
