Libelium at MWC Barcelona

Libelium at Mobile World Congress

At the upcoming MWC Barcelona, a significant presence not to be missed is that of Libelium, a leading innovator in the Internet of Things (IoT) space. This year, Libelium is set to showcase its cutting-edge IoT solutions at the Spain Pavilion, underlining its commitment to crafting more sustainable cities and businesses.

Spearheading Sustainable Cities and Businesses

Invited by Red.es, among other spanish companies, Libelium will be present at Spanish Pavilion, booth #06, very close to the bar, an always interesting spot 😉

Here is our in progress agenda for these days:

  • 28/02/2024, 10:40h. José Antonio Cabo will present “grid360, Efficiency in energy transportation” one of the key solutions to maximize efficiency, with minimul environmental impact. Be on clock, because these slots are pretty brief (10’)
  • 28/02/2024, 14:30h Alicia Asín, Libelium CEO, will participate in the roundtable “Humanizar la Inteligencia Artificial: la ética como desafío ha variado”. The panel will be moderated by Elena Gil, IA & BIG DATA Director in Telefónica Tech.

Libelium’s participation in this prestigious event underscores the evolving role of IoT in our daily lives. With a focus on enhancing sustainability and efficiency, Libelium’s technology has become integral in addressing some of the most pressing environmental and urban challenges of our time.

The Green Book of IoT

Libelium wants to be more than a technology provider for sustainability; wants to be an agent to rethink the change that the planet demands of us. That is why we published the Green Book of IoT, which we will present at IoT Solutions.

The Green Book of IoT offers a comprehensive review of Libelium’s advancements and developments in 2023, and provides insight into the future possibilities and evolution of sustainable IoT technology. 🌱

Libelium’s three focus projects for a more sustainable companies and cities

Libelium is thrilled to unveil our latest contributions to the world of smart technology: iris360, grid360, and envair360.

As we present these innovative projects, we also celebrate the essence of Marca España – a symbol of quality, creativity, and innovation. Join us as we embark on this journey, showcasing the ingenuity and spirit of Spain to the world. Together, let’s explore the endless possibilities that technology holds for a smarter, more connected future.

iris360, a data spaces for take action on sustainability

Having information always ready and accurate facilitates collaboration between teams in our companies. In cities, it can promote dialogue between public administration and citizens. We call this new form of communication where the language is the data dataocracy. Dataocracy is a paradigm shift that empowers citizens and governments, promoting a more transparent and effective democracy.

But this is not an easy task. We need to combine data from different sources, make sense of it in a unified way, and ensure its security and integrity.

At Libelium we have developed iris360, a data space where quality and transparency are crucial. Iris360 offers a secure and reliable ecosystem where data can be transformed into information that can be consumed safely, agilely, and helps with accountability.

Datacracy made easy 🙂

envair360 helps cities like Cartagena to improve their air quality

Libelium has helped Cartagena (Spain) to design its LEZ based on AI. Such as other European countries, Cartagena must implement Low Emissions Zones to reduce pollution, but hasn’t enough data to design it in the most effective way. Visit us and know how we do it!

grid360 gets the most of the energy infraestructure

This ground-breaking project represents a significant leap in energy transport efficiency for electrified towers. The grid360 solution, developed in collaboration with Telefónica, exemplifies how IoT can revolutionise traditional industries, offering smarter, more sustainable methods of operation.

The grid360 solution utilises a network of sensors and smart meters to monitor and manage the energy distribution in real-time. This leads to a more efficient transmission of electricity, reducing energy wastage and enhancing the reliability of the supply. In the context of growing energy demands and the urgent need for sustainable practices, solutions like grid360 are pivotal in transitioning towards a more energy-efficient future.

See you there?
